Bill Reif

Bill Reif has spent more than five decades shaping Wausau’s growth through technical expertise, entrepreneurial vision and collaborative leadership. After earning advanced degrees in chemistry and  paper science, he joined Wausau Papers in 1975 and later co-founded Wausau Coated Products in 1981, pioneering the industry’s first fully water-based manufacturing process. The company has since grown  into a major employer with national reach. Bill later helped launch Roastar, a digital label and packaging company that continues to expand. His leadership extends across community boards and long-term  development efforts, strengthening economic opportunity and supporting Wausau’s continued success.
